Ingredients used to Hyderabadi  Biryani:

Meat: 1 kg

Rice: 750 grams(semi -cooked)

Salt: 1 tablespoon

1 to 2 onions

1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

1 tablespoon green chilli

1 tablespoon  red  chilli

1/2 tbsp. cardamom powder

2 to 3 cinnamon sticks

1 tablespoon jeera

2 tbsp. lemon juice

cloves-4

mint leaves as per taste

curd: 250 grams

1 tablespoon saffron

3 tbsp ghee

water :1/2 cup

oil: 1/2 cup

salt as per taste

Method of making  Hyderabadi Biryani/ Hyderabadi   Chicken Biryani Recipe:

First , prepare all the ingredients. to make Hyderabadi   Chicken Biryani Recipe, 

How to make the Hyderabadi   Chicken Biryani Recipe:

  1. Heat oil in pan . add chopped onions to the pan and cook until the onions turn brown. This will take 15 to 20 minutes. after the onion turns brown , take it out separately and keep it in a vessel.
  2. now you can have chicken or mutton pieces in Hyderabadi  Biryani.
  3. First of all , wash the meat thoroughly  with clean water . After this , add meat , turmeric powder , ginger-garlic paste , salt , red myrtle powder , cardamom powder , green chilli paste, roasted   onion, cumin, cinnamon, cumin,and mint to the pan . add clove leaves , mace and lemon juice; mix everything well  marinate the chicken ; and keep it in the fridge for 6 to 8 hours.
  4. Now for Biryani , soke the rice in water for 30 minutes. Drain the water and keep it separately.
  5. Heat ghee in large pan . add cardamom, bay leaves , cloves , cinnamon, cumin rice , 3 cups of water , and salt as per taste , and let it boil . cook till 3/4 of the rice cooked . Switch off the gas and keep to the side.
  6. To make chicken biryani , heat ghee in a large pan. Add the marinated chicken to it and leave it to cook on low heat . Remember that cooking chicken requires some investment.
  7. After the mutton and chicken are cooked , take them out on a plate.
  8. Now heat ghee in a big pan . Make a layer of half the rice . Sprinkle with green coriander and mutton or chicken masala. Pour the remaining rice , saffron ,and milk mixture on top . cover the pan and let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
  9. once cooked , turn off the gas and leave covered for the next 10 minutes. Add fired onions and green coriander on top and serve.
  10. serve the Hyderabadi  Biryani /Hyderabadi   Chicken Biryani Recipe with Lauki Raita and Curd salan for dinner.
